The Persecuted

It is easy to forget that the religious freedom we are granted here in America is not the reality for many believers around the world. Persecution can be defined as “any hostility experienced as a result of one’s identification with Christ to include hostile attitudes, words and actions toward Christians.” We must not forget our brothers and sisters in Christ who are being violently persecuted for their faith all around the world. Take time to pray for their safety, strength and faith in times of persecution.

Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. —Romans 12:15
