Prestonwood Cares Serve Saturday is a community-wide serve day that is held several times each year to support ministry partners and to be the hands and feet of Jesus across North Texas. Since its inception in 2017, more than 10,000 people have served with Prestonwood Cares Serve Saturday outreaches.
Partnering with dozens of like-minded community organizations, each embedded in respective communities and specific ministry areas, Prestonwood is committed to sharing the hope of Jesus Christ through helping those who need help.
Prestonwood is blessed to have a community that seeks to reach others beyond our physical campuses. Taking the Gospel of Jesus Christ into the North Texas community, whether to our own neighborhood or to an inner-city community in which we serve, is the fulfillment of our commitment to advance the Great Commission.
SERVE SATURDAY COMMUNITY PARTNERS
Prestonwood partners with ministries and organizations across North Texas in all areas of work, including homelessness, food insecurity, and compassion.
On each Serve Saturday date, Prestonwood contacts each partner to determine whether there are any immediate needs that can be offered to members of the Prestonwood community. On a Serve Saturday date, it is not uncommon to see more than 1,000 members of our community serving in 25 or more locations across North Texas.
