Cuba is a nation with beautiful landscapes, kind people, and rich history. When you walk down the streets in Havana, you feel like you’ve been transported back in time as you take in the architecture and old - timey vehicles driving on the roads. Because of Cuba’s history, there is a mixture of native, African & European influences that provide a diverse culture shown through food, music and hospitality all around the country. Historically, Catholicism is the dominant religion in Cuba

Short-term trips categorized at this level have either a medium level of strenuous activity levels, mid-level advanced ministry or location requirements, or all of the above. Participants must be willing to share the gospel and their testimony to others, be physically able to walk for extended periods of time, over even and uneven surfaces with some steps, inclines and unpaved terrain. Participants must be willing to commit to attending 100 percent of scheduled trainings on culture and ministry tactics.
