Countless remote villages, accessible only by boat, lie along the Amazon River and need to hear the Gospel message. Each village is hidden along small remote tributaries that wind through the most vibrant areas of God’s creation. Along these waterways are some of the most isolated people groups, and it’s likely they have not even heard the name of Jesus or learned of His Good News.

Short-term trips categorized at this level have an advanced amount of strenuous activity, advanced ministry demands, location requirements, or all of the above.  Participants must be willing to share the Gospel and their testimony to others, be physically able to walk for extended periods of time at great distances on uneven surfaces and/or mountain terrain, and be willing to commit to attending 100 percent of scheduled trainings on culture and ministry tactics. These trips have mandatory training that must be completed by all participants who are on the final team roster.
