Albania – 2023-30

Albania is known for its culture rich in the arts and rooted in political and social movements. The landscape of Albania is unique for its Accursed Mountains, remote villages, rivers, waterfalls and lakes. These remote villages, only reachable during certain seasons, are a picture of the overall population. Just three decades ago, the population of Albania was almost entirely unreached and was one of the largest atheist populations in the world. Today, a body of local believers is committed to reaching Albania for Jesus and sewing seed for His kingdom.

Short-term trips categorized at this level have either a medium level of strenuous activity levels, mid-level advanced ministry or location requirements, or all of the above. Participants must be willing to share the gospel and their testimony to others, be physically able to walk for extended periods of time, over even and uneven surfaces with some steps, inclines and unpaved terrain. Participants must be willing to commit to attending 100 percent of scheduled trainings on culture and ministry tactics.
