While the landscape boasts of bright, open beaches, the spiritual atmosphere in Thailand is the opposite with 99% of their people considered unreached. Within Thailand, organized crime, political corruption, human rights violations, and occultism run rampant in the society. In this way, Christianity stands out as unique, providing room for Gospel presentations and conversations in everyday life. It is because of this that the church is growing and members are stepping forward to reach the 80,000 unreached villages.
Short-term trips categorized at this level have either an advanced level of strenuous activity levels, advanced ministry or location requirements, or all of the above. Participants must be willing to share the gospel and their testimony to others, be physically able to walk for extended periods of time, at great distances on uneven surfaces and/or mountain terrain, and be willing to commit to attending 100 percent of scheduled trainings on culture and ministry tactics. Short-term trips categorized at this level have mandatory training that must be completed by all participants on final team roster.
