Prestonwood Baptist Church and Prestonwood Cares remain committed to providing assistance to those who need help across North Texas related to the coronavirus outbreak. Here are areas of support in which the Prestonwood community can be directly involved.

Area food banks and food resource ministries are critically low in supplies, which is negatively affecting families in-need across North Texas. Community members can help with donations of non-perishable food … canned and boxed food; bagged rice and beans.

Food collection bins are located at the main front entrances of our campuses in Plano and Prosper. We will work closely with our North Texas ministry partners to identify individuals and families who are in immediate need of food resources, and provide Prestonwood Cares Food Paks to help fill those needs.

Prestonwood Pregnancy Center is in critical need of disposable diapers, infant formula and baby wipes for their patients and new mothers. The Food Collection Bins on our campuses may also be used for these baby supplies; the items will be sorted and sent to Prestonwood Pregnancy Center.

A Prestonwood community group is using sewing skills to serve others by making face masks. Hundreds of people, many in the medical community, have been blessed with these face masks. Visit for information on joining the efforts.

While many area nonprofits have closed their operations for several weeks, some have critical needs with which Prestonwood volunteers can assist during this time of despair. These Prestonwood Cares ministry partners have expressed a need for some assistance. Please call or visit their website for any critical volunteer needs.
