Uganda is a country in Africa that has a diverse landscape that encompasses the snow - capped Rwenzori Mountains and the immense Lake Victoria and contains diverse wildlife including chimpanzees and rare birds. Kampala, the capital city of Uganda is marked b y many hills covered with red - tile villas and many trees. The main languages in Uganda are English and Swahili and the religious demographic is split between indigenous religions, Islam and Christianity.

Short-term trips categorized at this level have either an advanced level of strenuous activity levels, advanced ministry or location requirements, or all of the above. Participants must be willing to share the gospel and their testimony to others, be physically able to walk for extended periods of time, at great distances on uneven surfaces and/or mountain terrain, and be willing to commit to attending 100 percent of scheduled trainings on culture and ministry tactics. Short-term trips categorized at this level have mandatory training that must be completed by all participants on final team roster.
